Policy, Participation & Engagement

Our series of Briefing Sheets, Policy and Position Papers are designed to support local and national organisations develop their own responses to consultation activities on issues which affect BME carers and cared for people across Scotland. We provide a dedicated policy resource to support local carer centres evidence and advocate for an equalities perspective within key strategic documents.

We are in the process of setting up a National Consultative Forum for BME carers.

Dedicated support is available to ensure the engagement and participation of Scotland’s Gypsy/Traveller community in policy development.
