Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival 2021 Programme Launch

The Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival launched its 2021 programme today. This is the fifteenth year of SMHAF and once again it provides a wide range of artworks from across Scotland and beyond.

This year’s MECOPP Gypsy/Traveller Carers' Project contribution is an exhibition by local artists at Porty Light Box in Portobello, Edinburgh, from 3rd May until 23rd May.

They adapted the SMHAF theme of ‘What is Normality?’ to ‘Fitting In?’, to explore ideas of belonging and acceptance and how that can affect your wellbeing.

After dark the Porty Light Box, an old telephone box, lights up so that passers-by can enjoy their art work day or night.
