Suzanne Munday

(Sabbatical Leave)

I joined the organization in January 2000 as the Founder CEO and subsequently stepped down from the role in November 2018. I was retained as an Associate and took up the role of GypsyTraveller Service Lead in November 2019.

I have 30+ years of working in the voluntary sector and 22 years in a senior management role.  My educational background is varied, having originally gained a degree in Peace Studies from Bradford University. I later qualified in community education at Moray House in Edinburgh.

I have overall responsibility for managing the MECOPP Gypsy/Traveller service and I lead on working with statutory partners on policy and strategic development in Scotland.

I love airports, trains and travelling. I enjoy cooking for other people, am interested in interior design and watching zombie movies.
