Gypsy, Roma, Traveller History Month Celebration Day - 2nd June
From noon. Members of the Gypsy/Traveller community will demonstrate the building of a gelly, a traditional tent.
There will be cooking over an open fire using traditional methods.
Local basket weaver Kathy Potter-Irwin, will be giving workshops in working with willow and there will be the opportunity to learn how to make paper flowers, wooden flowers and pegs from community members.
At 2pm there will be storytelling for children.
