MECOPP’s library holds health and social care information for Black and Minority Ethnic communities and the professionals who work with and support them.
What We Stock
Titles for the public include advice and information leaflets available in various community languages. There are also a number of titles available on audio cassette and video/DVD. Almost all of these titles can be taken and kept.
Professional materials include reports, policy documents and training materials. These are published by the statutory, voluntary and academic sectors and are available for borrowing only.
How To Access The Library
The library is open to visitors:
Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm
Friday 9am to 4pm.
If you cannot visit the library, search our online database of titles to see what we have available. We can then send the items to you. You will need to pay for postage and packing but we will tell you the cost before processing your request. Or, as many of our titles are available as PDFs, we can email the title to you if you prefer.
Requesting A Title
Once you have found what you are looking for, make a note of the title's ID number and contact us quoting that number. We will then arrange to post or email the title to you.
