MECOPP has a produced a short video about the contribution our volunteers make to supporting Chinese users of residential and daycare services in Edinburgh. In addition to focusing on the important work our volunteers do, their background, and what they get from volunteering, the video also highlights some of the barriers people from minority ethic communities encounter when accessing social services and how such barriers can be overcome.
The video is available in Chinese and English versions and can be downloaded from this page. A broadband connection is required. For convenience, each language version is split into three parts.
The video is also available for free on DVD. To request a copy please contact MECOPP with your name and address.
